Camping
Camping is an experience that we offer with simplicity and respect for rural life. The campsite is simple, neat and spacious. Because we focus on touring campers and do not rent out seasonal pitches, the field is well maintained and it is a wonderful experience to walk barefoot through the grass or have a picnic in front of the tent.
The camping field is divided into 25 spacious camping pitches, each with mains voltage. The camping pitches are spacious and are located around the playing field. This way you have plenty of space to enjoy peace, space and the environment around your tent.

Guests who come to camp must show a valid Natural Camping Card on arrival. The Green Book with nature camping card is available from us. We are part of the De Groene Koepel ↬ Foundation.
Reception
In our local shop there is a tourist information point, where you can find cycling/walking routes, cycling maps and information about all kinds of activities and places of interest.
Hiker's cabin ↬
At the end of 2015 we placed a hiker's cabin in the tree wall on the edge of our small campsite. With a view over the meadows, this hut offers every opportunity to relax after a bike ride or just a few days of nothing. The hiker's hut provides friends on bicycles or hikers with sleeping accommodation for two people (expandable to four).
motorhomes
Campers are very welcome. For larger campers, we have space on the camper field or on the concrete in front of the camping field, due to the surface. The intake of drinking water and/or the discharge of waste water is possible after consultation. Your cassette toilet can be emptied at the dumping table.

sanitary building
We have completely renovated our sanitary facilities. We have overhauled the old wagon shed and fitted it with underfloor heating. There are two rooms with two showers each, a washbasin in a cabin and three regular washbasins, separated from two toilets.
our new sanitary facilities. We have made a shower room for wheelchair users with a double shower with a sunschower. All showers are equipped with a heat recovery unit from the Dutch brand DSS.
We have given the kitchen area a larger countertop with two sinks and a place to cook for guests of the hiker's cabin. We have tried to make it fresh and spacious, yet homely and we have been helped by Kupan ↬ who produced the doors, panels, washbasins and the kitchen unit for us. We are very pleased with the end result.
In the late summer of 2021 we installed a GEP ↬ rainwater well and the toilets are now flushing with rainwater.
Tea terrace ↬
In front of the farm house, under the trees, there is a pleasant tea terrace. It is a resting point, not only for camping guests, but also for the many passers-by who take one of the many cycling routes.

Minicamping Singel is located 2 kilometers outside Jubbega ↬. The village is centrally located between Heerenveen, Drachten and Oosterwolde, in the beautiful scenic landscape of southeastern Friesland. The peaceful nature of our area invites you to go for a bike ride or a brisk walk along back roads and forest paths. An excellent way to enjoy the Frisian countryside in peace, which has already surprised many people. The other Friesland.

cultural history
The area is characterized by a unique neighborhood pattern that was created by the peat excavations from the last century. Residents have given the area the name De Frije Wiken. That name refers to the history in which the people have wrestled themselves from exploitation and oppression and where they have opted for freedom.
We have tried to match the layout of our yard with this beautiful natural and historical environment.
Footprint
In order to reduce our environmental impact and to contribute to the CO2 reduction, we installed solar panels on our shed in 2013. We have fitted all showers in the new sanitary building with a drain water heat recovery systems and to save drinking water we have installed a rainwater well to collect water, which is used to flush the toilets.
In order to give our commitment to the environment a little more visibility, we started the application procedure for a Greenkey certification in 2021. We are therefore pleased that we can use the greenkey logo as of 19 May 2022.
